"Studying at ECA has given me the opportunity to meet and have conversations with people from all around the world. Surrounded by people coming from different backgrounds and disciplines has expanded my interests and knowledge."

What is the title of your graduate show work?

harmoneED

What is the project about?

HarmoneED is a proposal created to scrutinize spatial relationships and how they can influence human interaction and movement.

Strategic placement of structure, openings, lighting and furniture provides multiple opportunities of interaction and inclusivity, as well as creating spaces harmonising company and privacy.

How do you best like to work?

Site visits are important to me as I can start to understand the movement, time, atmosphere, size and people that might experience the impact of my projects. Using this knowledge, I can identify social problems and propose a valid solution.

Can you tell us about some of the things that inspire you and that have influenced you during your studies?

I get inspired when travelling and experiencing new places – be it architecture, details or culture.

I follow many social accounts and websites relevant to the practice, so I encounter interesting and inspiring designs daily.

What have been the highlights of your time at ECA and living in Edinburgh?

Edinburgh is an admirable city to me because of its layout, history and architecture.

Studying at ECA has given me the opportunity to meet and have conversations with people from all around the world. Surrounded by people coming from different backgrounds and disciplines has expanded my interests and knowledge.

Do you have any plans for after graduation?

This is an unsolvable question for me. Having interests in various aspects of the discipline, my plans are to explore until I find a practice I will find most enjoyment in, whatever country it might be in.

After gaining more experience I would eventually like to start my own practice.
