YIMING YUAN In this project, I combine biomedical and material science, using computer programs to create parametric physical models of genes, and through a series of visual outputs to present the possibilities of gene editing, identity issues, and ethical metaphors, to describe the sense of genetic sovereignty within organisms, and to imagine the future environment in which people will live under genetic changes, using the work to convey a message of rethinking about genetic engineering.
