Rowan Cunningham

The Jewel Park is an example of a failing community park in the residential area of Edinburgh. The design was to regenerate the park to offer a range of recreation and food growing facilities to the community. Underlying these opportunities the design strategy was to create a park that was accessible, connective, multifunctional and has the capacity to deal with flash flooding – an inevitable consequence of climate change.
