Hi I'm Zimo Li. I've loved painting since I was a child and I have a keen eye for color. I feel that painting is an expression of emotion, not only to convey a story, but also to express an energy or emotion.
I hope to have an interesting interaction with the viewer through my work and to create a unique little world through my brush.
My grandma is pink
This is a picture book about death education. The picture book is about the main character's grandmother who loves pink very much and gave a lot of pink things to the little girl during her life, but unfortunately the little girl's grandmother died and she was very sad. But she is still too young to understand what death means and what it means. She knew that her grandmother had gone far away and that she would never see her again. But every time she was in trouble the things that helped her were the pink items that her grandmother had given her. Whenever she sees these things that her grandmother has given her. She wouldn't feel lonely and scared. She would become very brave. Because she knows that her grandmother will always be there for her.
Women
This is a theme about the unequal status of women in society and I have focused the picture on the status of women. So the subject of the picture is more about women and scales. I intersperse the picture with elements that relate to the topic of women and fairness. For example, scales, butterflies, flowers, eyes, etc. The image is rich while still reflecting the subject matter. The unfair treatment of women and the inequality of their status. I hope that through this body of work I can influence women themselves and those who are not prejudiced against women.
Bugs life
This is an illustration of the life of a bug. As I am afraid of bugs myself, I wanted to use a cute format to make the life of a bug come alive and interesting. I also wanted to use bright colours to reduce the feeling of fear. I hope that those who share my fear of bugs will see this work and feel relieved of that fear.

We all have times when we are lonely or depressed, and I hope that when you see this picture you will feel warm and fuzzy inside. Life goes on and we must try to move on, there is always a light for us.
