Drawn to the relationship between artwork and audience, I use sociality as a medium to explore art facilitation as a method of practice. Capturing the ‘mise en scene’ of art making and art viewing, my focus is situational and people-led. I avoid the production of ‘art objects’, opting to manipulate found materials and my existing surroundings to support my work. Intuitive and spontaneous, I work collaboratively to generate situations which question art and social practice. My work is organisational, revealing the artifice in relational aesthetics by curating situations which establish genuine connection. Although not overt, I am present in the work through my relationship with those involved.
