School of Art
This year, there has been a joyous return to the studios after a prolonged period of online learning and these graduate shows are a celebration of what our Art students have achieved during their time at ECA.
The positivity and resilience the students have shown has been remarkable.
Over the course of the year, we have slowly seen restrictions diminish and the building return to its old self, with student exhibitions and events taking place, spaces filling up, and students being able to create large scale work, socialise, and make things happen like they always should in an art school.
It has been a wonderful thing to witness, and many of them have made the most of the facilities on offer – using workshops as much as possible, for example, and really valuing the studio spaces that we have here in Edinburgh.
