Leah Wood

​My practice is heavily focused on nature, which I explore with a variety of media including photography and sculpture. In my process, nature has become a communicative tool for the underlying themes and narratives explored within my work. 

My artistic approach is scientifically influenced, consisting of many hours of 'fieldwork': recording, observing and researching. My art encapsulates this amalgamation, where the reality of science meets the fiction of art.
