Bio

My work is silly and serious, exploring interconnection, attention and love as a way to approach both interpersonal and environmental issues. The silliness and naivety in my work is a way of opening the door to bigger issues presented or processed through the work such as climate change and grief. The silliness further allows for a new approach to these issues to be found as it is uninhibited by existing norms. I use simple, accessible materials to create fantasy worlds to explore potential alternatives for the real world. Together the silliness and materials show an ease of creation in contrast to fixed structures and huge issues.
