Interior is also exterior. By exploring from the interior to the outside, one comes to the city, combining the interior with the city gives birth to interior urbanism that aims to explore the boundaries between the interior and urban. Can functional architectural solutions take the form of indoor public 'streets' full of vibrant, random divine events（Thchumi，2021）There are always 'events' happening in the city, so I chose street performers and moved their activities indoors. Although there is an annual festival in Edinburgh where street performers can take to the streets and perform, at other times street performers are often neglected and lack space to communicate. So I wanted to design a community for street performers. As well as providing a better space for artists to perform would allow them to interact with different people, exchange performance experiences, talk to experienced artists and listen to audience feedback. Different spaces correspond to different forms of performance, and then the spaces are linked by stairs instead of 'streets', the different degrees of openness of the spaces is an attempt to explore the boundaries between the interior and the city
User Group
Suitable for all students of the school, staff and street performers, and artists, with a greater emphasis on students who do not have space to show their work (film productions, theatre productions, and various productions that require a small stage).
