Project description

Colour, materiality and shape are often considered the three main visual elements in interior and spatial design. They form the components within the space; the colour and material conclude the wall, ceiling and floor; the furniture can be an accent, and their physical form is a representation of materiality and shape. These three elements nearly conclude everything we see in an interior, and thus they bring impact to our perception.

This project redesigned 8 interiors in 40 George Square, each with a unique colour theme.

Project 2 - Interior time ⏳

This mini project uses 3D animation to depict the interior time that happened at our site - 40 George Square. We as a human, can notice minor changes in an interior, but what about the decaying façade? Or the rotting carpet? We simply can’t notice that unless we have the ability to read the interior in a time-lapse. The purpose of this video is to show the meaning of interior time

Thank you💖

'So do all who live to see such times but that is not for them to decide, All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.' - Gandalf, The Lord of the Rings.

This is the end of our journey, but also the beginning of a new one......
