As a Muslim, I have been working on myself and my journey to understand and love my faith. I want my work to show how important my faith is to me. This year I created works that explore aspects of my faith such as things I’m still learning and would like to teach others, and stereotypes and misconceptions that I want to share a light on.

Narrative and story telling is a key element in my work and I always look for ways to tell a story or convey educational information in a fun and engaging way. My style is very cheerful and colourful and I love incorporating hand made mono print and ink textures with digital collage.
